Het astronomische horloge van MeisterSinger met 1 wijzer
MeisterSinger vervaardigt mechanische horloges voor mensen die niet geïnteresseerd zijn in het tellen van seconden, maar het grotere geheel willen zien en gewoon op het goede spoor willen blijven. Dit nieuwe horloge heeft een vergelijkbare plastisch vormgegeven kast als het model ‘Pangea’ en heeft een kastdiameter van 40 millimeter.
Het horloge is uniek als het gaat om een eenwijzerig horloge gecombineerd met een maanfase weergave. Opvallend is de ongewoon grote weergave en de gedetailleerde afbeelding van de maan tussen de sterren.
Correctie na 128 jaar
Het duurt 29 dagen, 12 uur, 44 minuten en 2,9 seconden wanneer de maan een complete cirkel heeft gemaakt rondom de aarde.
De meeste horloges met een maanfase weergave ronden dit af tot 29,5 dagen, hetgeen betekent dat ze acht uur per jaar afwijken en dus na drie jaar 1 dag moeten worden verzet.
Het speciaal voor de MeisterSinger Lunascope ontworpen uurwerk is echter veel nauwkeuriger. Deze maanfase-indicator behoeft slechts een kleine aanpassing na 128 jaar – een korte periode in astronomische termen, maar een zeer lange periode in de wereld van de uurwerken en mensenlevens. Het automatische uurwerk wat dit geheel aandrijft kan worden bekeken door glas in de open gewerkte achterzijde van dit prachtige horloge.
De Lunascope is verkrijgbaar in twee variaties – met een zongeslepen-wijzerplaat in hetzelfde donkerblauw als de achtergrond van de maan of met een zilveren ‘gezandstraalde’ wijzerplaat, waarbij het ronde datumvenster op 6 uur een optisch contrast vormt met de astronomische weergave. Op verzoek zijn de horloges leverbaar met verschillende soorten horlogebanden.
