The Franck Muller Master Banker has one of the most practical complications available on a wristwatch. Two subdials for monitoring two time zones simultaneously. The solid 18k white gold case is shaped beautifully.

The 18k white gold case is sized just right, making it perfect for everyday use. Case measures 38.5mm by 45mm long if you include the lugs and is 31mm across. Case measures apprx 12mm thick. The case is anatomically curved for comfort.

Dial is silver with large Arabic numerals and sword-style hands including the subdial hands. Center sweep seconds hand. Date window at the 3 o’clock position.

A single crown adjusts all three time zones. The dial is guilloche silver with painted black Arabic numeral hour markers, blued steel spade hands, a center sweep seconds hand, and an outer railway-style minute/seconds track. There is a silver rimmed circular date aperture at the 3 o'clock position. There are 2 silver-rimmed subsidiary 24-hour time zone dials, one at 12 o'clock, and another at 6, with the philosophy that international business people could greatly benefit by knowing the time in Tokyo, London, and New York, or any three other world time zones. It has a 47-hour power reserve at full wind, and it's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet. The approximately 12mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.

The mechanical automatic self-winding Franck Muller caliber 2800 movement is rhodium plated, with fausses côtes embellishment. It's constructed with 21 jewels, a shock absorber mechanism, and a straight-line lever escapement. It includes a monometallic balance that's adjusted to temperatures and 6 positions, a self-compensating flat balance-spring, and a solid platinum rotor.

Franck Muller’s Master Banker was birthed from the frustrations of a banker wishing to view three trading time zones at a glance. Up until that point, most timepieces displaying additional time zones only displayed the hour, not the minute hand. Inspired, Franck Muller hatched a brilliant plan to simultaneously display three different clock faces at the flip of one’s wrist – with each telling a different time. And unlike conventional 'GMT' watches, this configuration allows the user to track time zones offset from Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) by 30 or 45 minutes.
